Beautiful SoulsFor those who celebrate it, Happy Thanksgiving! As I'm writing this, my husband and his brand new soldier are bad-talking the football teams, the boys have finally crashed , and a friend's dog is warming my feet. That's the beautiful thing about the military - you might not be able to celebrate holidays with blood, but you sure will get invited to at least ten different celebrations around the base.
It's amazing, the kindness that people will extend when they feel like it.

Daily Deviations play a significant role behind the heart of a Community Volunteer. It is my pleasure to promote the Fan Artists that successfully give their represented fandom justice for all the world to appreciate. Please understand that I am only interested in featuring as many fandoms as I can, as the Fan Art Empire continues to grow.
So do I feature My Little Pony? Absolutely.
Scarface? Even if Al Pacino is himself.
What about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? Lord of the Rings? Beauty and the Beast? Kuroshitsuji?
Yes.

World Aids Day 2014Introduction
World AIDS Day on 1 December brings together people from around the world to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and demonstrate international solidarity in the face of the pandemic. The day is an opportunity for public and private partners to spread awareness about the status of the pandemic and encourage progress in HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and care in high prevalence countries and around the world.

Happy Easter! Happy Passover! Happy Pascha!Ok, now you're wondering if I'm loosing my mind, right? Why the hell did she use two Easter greetings and also a Pesach greeting? I can assure you all, I'm not loosing my mind (though some people may think otherwise....). This year, 2014, is an exception to the rule: Today we are celebrating the Western Easter, the Eastern Pascha and also the Pessach holiday!! So, today Jerusalem is even fuller than normal on holidays and the various religious groups have to hold their holy masses after each other!

MomI was listening to the radio as I was cooking on Thanksgiving, and I heard a song. I couldn't really hear the words, but I could hear the voice and I said to my husband "Is that Garth Brooks?! I've never heard this song before!" So he turned it up and sure enough, it was a brand new song from Garth Brooks called "Mom." It's mentions God, like a ton of country songs do, and even though I'm not religious, I found it to be such a beautiful song.. Even Garth Brooks, the man who wrote the song, can't make it through a performance of that song without crying.
Now wipe your tears away, you crybaby!
I could sit here and talk about how I love being a mom, how I love watching my boys grow and get smarter and have new experiences, and how the Ninjababy only wants to have cuddle time with his Daddy, but the Demonchild is still my cuddle monster. But if you know me, you already know how they're my life, there's no need to write an entire journal about it. :

Artists Postcards
Update : 15 artists have answered to this offer. There are still 5 places.
During the last two months of 2014, I offered batches of postcards to more than 15 artists, reproduction of their winning artwork in different DA contests, printed on 350 gr. coated card with gloss finishing. It was the prize I gave as donator in these contests. The postcards flew to different countries of Europe, Asia, South and North America.

Vol. 1 - From Deep Sea To Deep SpaceI love art under all its forms. DA is a big scene on which a multitude of emerging and confirmed artists shared their works, their passion, their life, their dreams.... through paintings, drawings, sculptures, pictures and texts of all kinds. I've conceived the project to create a little space in which I will gather some of these artworks. A way to open the dialogue between different forms of arts, on a chosen theme. A collage gave me the inspiration for the theme of this Vol.1, entitled "Oceanisky" :
